Subsurface mooring deployed at 45 21.745N 61 08.636W. Mooring consists of an acoustic receiver housed in a modified lobster trap that sits on bottom and is attached to a buoyant plastic barrel containing 100m of line and an acoustic release. The barrel floats approximately 3m above bottom, mooring is deployed at 53m depth. If release malfunctions, it is possible it will be released to the surface prematurely. This poses a potential hazard as there will be 100m of line in 55m depth. Caution.
