Floating rope reported in Hoskyn channel adjacent to Read Island in the vicinity of 50 09.257N 125 08.947W at 130300UTC Sep 2024. Described as having aproximately 50 yards visible on the surface and attached to a black buoy with an equal or greater length submerged.

Entry is prohibited pursuant to the Defence Controlled Access Area Regulations. Safe passage is available within 0.5nm North of Winchelsea Island and within 0.5 nm East of Ballenas Island.
