Due to the prevailing low water levels in the Mackenzie River, the Canadian Coast Guard will not be placing and maintaining any navigational buoys this season between Mile Zero (Wrigley Harbour) and Mile 952 (at the entrance of Aklavik Channel). Since not having been inspected, all fixed aids and remaining floating aids, in this section should be deemed unreliable.
