A sounding survey of sections of the Miramichi Channel was completed by Public Services and Procurement Canada in April 2021. The limiting depth of 5.4 metres inside the buoyed channel remains unchanged since the last survey in May 2020.
A partially submerged wreck has been reported in the vicinity of McCracken Point.
