Pennecon wharves in approximate position 51 28.55N 056 55.2W have suffered armor stone washout with cribs remaining intact. Cribs sit approximately 160 meters from shore line.

Caution.

Unmarked floating rope and tangled aquaculture gear has been reported in St John's bay, Thwart Island in position 49 18.62N 055 08.35W.

Caution.

Subsea scientific moorings have been deployed in the following positions:

46 36.91 N 057 08.92 W at a depth of 40 metres,

46 41.10 N 057 14.60 W at a depth of 60 metres,

46 41.98 N 057 16.02 W at a depth of 80 metres.

Caution.

Site remediation work is ongoing with the retrieval of equipment from Hebron construction site at Bull Arm.

Caution.

The highway bridge at Holyrood Pond, approximate position 46 47.16 N 053 37.75 W, has sustained damage from ice. Some concrete pilings have partially collapsed and could pose a hazard to navigation.

Two anchor chains are marked with orange buoys in Fortune Bay west of Frenchman's Cove in position 47 11.44N 055 33.08W.

Caution.

Mariners are advised there have been reports of unmarked ropes and buoys left behind from an abandonned aquaculture site located in Pistolet Bay, Milan Arm area.

Caution

At 21/1919UTC June 2016, an 8 foot-wide anchor, brown in color, reported abandonned in between the government wharf and the beach in Dublin Bay, NS. The anchor is only visible at low tide and poses a hazard to navigation. Caution.

Shallower waters than advertised have been reported in the harbour entrance to Pinkneys Point. Caution.

A barge 20 feet by 40 feet reported partially submerged in 45 08.652N 066 56.08W. Caution.
