There is an unlit log boom blocking the Somass River in Port Alberni at 49 15.015N 124 48.804W.

A floating dock reported adrift in Degnen Bay in the vicinity of 49 07.877N 123 42.522W at 091515 UTC Jun 2024. The dock and exposed piling has been marked with a float.

A sub-surface mooring has been deployed in position 54 14.954N 134 01.408W approximately 8m above the seafloor. 

A hydrographic sounding survey of the Blacklands Gully channel in New Brunswick was completed by Public Services and Procurement Canada, in May 2024.  

A 430 meter sandbar was observed with depths as shallow as 0.3 meters above chart datum within the existing buoyed channel. The approximate center of the observed sandbar is in 46 46.052N 064 51.102W and is across width from buoys XX10 to XX11. Caution

A subsurface mooring buoy has been deployed south of Moresby Island, in the vicinity of 51 39.923N 130 17.387W, extending 8m above the seafloor, in a water depth of 258m. 

It has been recently identified that the current bathymetric data contained within Louisbourg Harbour chart (4376) is unreliable due to major vertical/horizontal datum concerns. Recent bathymetric surveys has shown the presence of shallower depths compared to what is currently charted. Mariners are advised to exercise extreme caution when using this chart to navigate.

Sunken fishing vessel reported in Weymouth near Old Trestle Bridge. Vessel is fully submerged, but partially visible at low tide. Caution.

A white flood light as been installed on the Seal Cove Coast Guard Heliport in the vicinity of 54 19.859N 130 16.628W.  The flood light is facing in a Northerly direction and is obscuring the approaches to Fern Passage.
