A sandbar is blocking the channel entrance at 46 32 25.74224N 064 41 55.1016W. Depths as shallow as 1.46 metres above chart datum have been surveyed.
The navigation channel in North Rustico, PEI has shifted. The depth and condition of the channel are unknown. Mariners should proceed with caution if using this channel.

A sounding survey of the Maisonnette Channel in New Brunswick was completed by Public Services and Procurement Canada between August 12 September 1, 2020. It was compared to Canadian Hydrographic Chart 4913 for Possible Hazards to Navigation.
