The Point Grey Tie Up located in the North Arm of the Fraser River at 49 14.888N 123 15.372W is continuing to deteriorate. A light has been installed at the end of a metal pontoon breakwater that extends 20 metres from Berth 4.
The light exhibits a yellow flashing light at 30 flashes per minute.

Two ice booms have been deployed off the community of Pleasantview, South Arm, in the vicinity of 49 21.529N 055 18.727W.
The first ice boom runs from Bard Island to Pigeon Island. The ice boom is a rope 12 inches in diameter and 3000 feet in length. It is marked by two yellow cautionary buoys, 24 inch yellow floats attached to the line. The ice boom is floating on the surface.
The second ice boom runs from Pigeon Island to Burnt Point. The ice boom is a rope 2 and 1/4 inches in diameter and is 800 feet in length. The line is marked with 16 inch yellow floats through the line. The ice boom is floating on the surface.
Two yellow 0.8 meter conical buoys mark a yoke in the middle of each ice boom for small vessel passage. These yokes will be removed when the bay begins to freeze over.

The Canadian Coast Guard published the VN-200 chart aimed at identifying maintained depths of the Saint Lawrence Waterway including certain anchorage areas.
Considering the natural over-depth observed at the TR1 anchorage station in the port of Trois-Rivières, it has been agreed to exceptionally allow a depth of 11.3 meters instead of 10.7 meters.
