| Description | Defence Research and Development Canada is performing autonomous systems trials. 3 subsea gliders will operate in Conception Bay within the following area from 020001 UTC May 2026 to 142359 UTC May 2026: 47 35.286N 053 09.666W 47 33.030N 053 10.164W 47 33.042N 053 04.356W 47 35.250N 053 04.398W The subsea gliders are yellow and black and are 2.2m long with a directional flashing light. The gliders will move at less than 2 knots and dive to approximately 50m, surfacing periodically. Wide berth requested. |
