| Description | Due to high water levels and at the request of Transport Canada, mariners are requested to navigate at safe speed in order to avoid damages to shore properties. Particular attention must be paid when meeting or overtaking. Moreover, for the area located between Île des Barques and Batiscan, speed over ground should not exceed 9 knots for upbound vessels, and 11 knots for downbound vessels. Safe speed to avoid damages to shore properties may be lower than these maximum speeds depending on circumstances. Reference: Notices to Mariners, Annual Edition Section A5 Notice 12 |
