| Description | Due to ongoing work on the east side, north canal wall, 24 hours notice to Atlantic Pilotage Authority is required for vessels greater than 150 metres prior to transiting the Canso Lock from north to south. Wide berth and minimum wash are requested in the vicinity of the north wall, on the east side of the Canso Canal. Contact the lockmaster on VHF channel 11 or at 902-625-1950 before entering the locks. Caution. |
