NAVWARN details

An uncharted rocky shoal of unknown depth has been reported along the Simpson Island Range line (LL 1700.1 / 1700.2). The approximate center of the shoal is at 61 38.9399 N 112 59.1578 W (WGS  84). Mariners should stay outside of a 600 metres radius area from the centre of the shoal. The SW end of the shoal is approximately 5,875 metres from the Simpson Island Front Range tower (LL 1700.1). Mariners are also reminded to take into account real-time water levels for Great Slave Lake, as published by the Water Survey of Canada.
