Unmarked hazard in 46 08 02.828N 63 46 11.81W. Caution

The front tower on the lit range LL 1746.0 at Mile 223.4, at position 61°56’.47”N  121° 42’.45”W  is down and temporarily out of service.

A bottom moored ODAS listening system has been deployed in the vicinity of 47°55.084’N 048°34.500’W at a depth of 142 fathoms. There is no surface impression from this mooring.

Caution. 

Mira Gut channel may be impassible at low tide, due to inadequate water depths.

Due to siltation, there is unsafe and inadequate water depths for navigation within the channel at Fox Dens Gully. Caution

Shallower depth located at:

45 37.405N 073 29.946W, 10.5 metres

Unlighted yellow and white buoy, attached to a 1200 foot cable, anchored in 45 20.822N 064 27.743W. The buoy and cable will swing with tide change. Caution.

Temporarily changed from nominal range 8NM to nominal range 11NM.

An obstruction submerged at high tide. Caution.

Botsford Wharf, N.B. has a limiting depth of 0.0 metres between 46 10 06.6N 63 56 04.4W and 46 10 09.1N 63 55 56.4W. Caution.

 Note that the limiting depth is below CHS chart datum and horizontal positions are based on NAD83.

A sounding survey of Fox Dens Gully was completed by Public Works and Government Services Canada on May 3, 2019. The Fox Dens Gully Channel has a limiting depth of 0.0 metres between 47 53 07.5N 64 29 40.0W and 47 53 07.5N 64 30 15.1W.  This notice is in effect until dredging operations have been completed.  Caution.

Note that limiting depth is below CHS chart datum and horizontal positions are based on NAD83.

Cruise ships 25,000 GRT or greater are required to embark a licensed pilot at the outer pilot boarding station located 45°09.08’N  066°04.8’W.

A sunken vessel near Clark's Harbour in 43° 30’ 48.83” N X 65° 36’ 86” W. Caution.

Rocks and dolosse have been located 7 metres from the pierhead of the breakwall at a depth of 2 metres. Caution.

The sub-surface scientific mooring HUD2 has been re-established at 61 15.85N 069 0.0W (NAD83). Top float extends 7 metres above the seafloor at a depth of 340 metres.

The sub-surface scientific mooring HUD3 has been re-established at 62 56.70N 074 40.59W (NAD83). Top float extends 7 metres above the seafloor at a depth of 164 metres.
