Description

Scientific moorings deployed in New London Bay, Prince Edward Island from 11 Jun 2026 until 01 Oct 2026. The deployment includes scientific moorings for an acoustic monitoring project. Only one buoy is present at the surface, the scientific/Valvoscope buoy and it has the following flash characteristics: 1 flash / 4 seconds. All other moorings have subsurface buoys positioned approximately 2 m above the bottom, with no surface marking.
